Shadow Shot Sunday

After snow flurries and coolldd weather yesterday, it was a nice surprise to find a bright sunny morning today. A perfect day to track down shadows!

I experimented with some coloured glass and loved the effects (thanks to Sylvia for her inspiration!)

And I checked around the house for some other shadows.

Be sure to check out Hey Harriet (that addictive meme of Tracy's) for some awesome shadows!

Sylvia definitely rubs off on people, doesn't she? :)

SHADOW, SHADOW

Shadow, shadow, if I could,
I would meet you in the wood,
Where the frenzied fairies play
In the blazing light of day.

But, dear shadow, I dare not
Go to that secluded spot,
For I fear the woodland path
And what’s more, the fairies’ wrath!

Love the glass colours but especially love the shapely shadow cast by the single leaf in the second last photo!

That oak leaf shadow is awesome, Bev.
Thanks for keeping Jack's picture and his last words on your blog. I'm sure I'm not the only one who appreciates his impact on our country. Let's hope it isn't lost, with history moving faster than we can think these days.
