Shadow Shot Sunday

Last weekend the weather was gorgeous. I even heard of people having their Thanksgiving feast outside!

This week we are back to cloudy, rainy days. Fall is here to stay. The colours of the trees though are lovely.

Here are a few shadows I was able to capture with the sun.

Be sure to visit Hey Harriet - home of Shadow Shot Sunday, that super addictive meme created by Tracy.

That withering flower blossom is by far the best yet!!! So artistically captured.

And....I LOVE the quote above near your header.

Ah, the flower is beginning to wilt, although the shadow is as lively now as the flower was...The foliage is not as colorful down here yet, although the visual treat will be brief this year, the rainy summer played havoc with the colors this year I am afraid. However, shadow art has its own lure, and you have captured it well!

That sad little flower does come to life in her shadow! Nice shots. Have a good weekend.

Ah, the poor dead flower! Yet the shadow of its skeleton is a thing of beauty itself!

SHADOW, SHADOW
(With apologies to William Blake)

Shadow, shadow lurking dark
In a corner of the park,
What immortal eye can see
Your transcendent symmetry?

Beverly girl that was an amazing Thanksgiving weekend wasn't it ?
Almost unnatural with it being so warm .. now this weekend is all wind and rain tearing the leaves off the trees before we get to see the "show" of colour .. and I wait all year to see that!!!
Love the naked coneflower that looks very much a candidate for Halloween flower of the year ! LOL
Great shadows with that amazing sunshine we had : )
