Wishcasting Wednesday

This week at Jamie Ridler Studios, Jamie once again has a very penetrating question to ask:

What do you wish to know?

As I thought about this question, my first thought was that there was too much to know! I want to learn new techniques, new crafts, new ideas, new people. I guess it comes down to wanting to always keep learning, no matter my age.

I used to tell my children that they needed to learn one new thing a day and we then talked about it at dinner. I want to keep doing that, to keep that curiosity about life -always looking for a new idea, a new thought, a new way of doing something, each and every day.

There is so much to learn -I want to be a sponge and soak in as much as possible. I don't want the old adage - you'll lose it if you don't use it - to apply as I continue to grow up!

As Jamie says: "You can be a maker of magic and a tender of wishes. It’s easy. Answer the wish prompt above on your blog. Support wishes by visiting other participants. It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together."

You can be a sponge. Great wish. As Bev wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

I love the sponge analogy :) And I can so relate to wanting to learn about everything!

As you wish for yourself, Bev, so I also wish for you.

That's a great tradition you do with your kids each day. As Bev wishes for herself, so I wish for her also.

I think that's so great that you filled your children with the curiousity to learn one new thing a day and then shared it with them!

As you wish for yourself, so I truly wish for you also.
