Shadow Shot Sunday

You take a week away, for a holiday and your camera is a constant on that trip. But you can't escape the lure of shadows! So of course, I have lots of shadows to share from Myrtle Beach - a lot better than the snow we have now! (we got over a foot on Wednesday along with minus degree weather most of the week!)
Here are some shadows from our first day walking on the beach:
and the baordwalk:

Be sure to check out the great shadow-chasers at Hey Harriet!

The erosion fence is my favorite as the vertical slats fall nicely upon the wavy sands. The beach is the place to be, where its warm anyway...the gull leaves a nice shadow, this bird not looking nearly as obnoxious as we usually see them!

Well caught, I love all of your angles and that amazing white sand. I felt like I was there, we're in Autumn now in Australia so you gave me a dose of summer back on a chilly morning, thankyou :)

The under-the-pier shot is stunning. (This IS a pier, isn't it???)

WONDERING WHY

Said Shadow, “I do wonder why,
When there is no sun in the sky,
I must disappear;
I’d like to stay here
And never again say good-bye!”

Yes it is a pier - it goes a long way out!

Love the shadow shots from Myrtle Beach. We had that snow and cold here too. Your photos made me make believe for a few moments. Very nice.

Peace.

Yep, sand is way better than snow...at least as we approach April. :) Great shadows!

Really great pictures. I thought when I first saw them there was some wishful thinking going on!!! Your weather is unbelievable!! We are having lovely spring weather if a bit chilly (10 degrees) if you can call it that. LOL Hope the weather improves for you soon. Hope you enjoyed your holiday. Take care.

Yay for beaches! They're perfect escapes! That shot taken under the jetty is fun! The interesting angle you've used makes me feel like I'm under a jetty that's about to collapse! Have a great week Bev!
