Shadow Shot Sunday

Shadows make for fun captures. On sunny days, they are a bit easier to find but once you start looking, they appear everywhere. Here are a couple from this past week:

Be sure to visit Hey Harriet other great shadows, a fun meme created by Tracy.

one of the joys of visiting your blog is when that header image loads. that's when I say to myself - oh yes, the beautiful flower shot. I always forget up until that moment. shadow do follow us wherever we go, but they're delightful, no? have a wonderful weekend.

The shadows on the garage door almost look alive, as if they are dancing limb to limb. The seem almost like persons, at least to me...

Snow allows for wonderful shadows, the strong shadows seem to suggest a strong and warmer sun above. Perhaps offering us the glimpse of Spring we all await...

Really great pictures as usual. Thanks for visiting me, I am so erratic with my blogging in the past few months. I keep promising myself I will do better and then slack off again, I mostly feel like I don't have anything very interesting to share. Hope things aren't too busy for you with school and that you are managing some creative and nurturing time for yourself.
Take care.

SHADOW COUNTING

A shadow for one?
What fun, what fun!

A shadow for two—
In black or blue?

A shadow for three?
O my, O me!

A shadow for four?
Ah, mi amour!

A shadow for five?
Coming alive!

A shadow for six?
Light playing tricks!

The one on the garage door is fabulous, and the shadow on the (disappearing?) snow is delightful.

Love the garage door shadow...okay, call me weird but I see a lady with an apron and she's holding it up, carrying her load of garden veggies in the 'dress' of the apron...see, told you I'm weird.
