Shadow Shot Sunday

What a bright beautiful morning it was today! I went out to get the papers and the sun was shining, there were beautiful clouds in the sky

and great shadows! Of course, I went back and got my camera!

This the view from our front walk - this is our huge tree!

This is a view of our driveway - note the piles of snow!

I took these from the back porch yesterday of our neighbours driveway - loved the shadows!

Be sure to visit the great shadow chasers at Hey Harriet, home of Shadow Shot Sunday, such a fun 9and addictive!) meme.

Oh, I'm so glad you've gotten some sun, Bev! Terrific shadow shots! I know everyone is so tired of the snow, but with some sunlight it can be fun finding those great shots! Hope you have a lovely weekend! Stay warm!

We had a brief moment of sun this morning - howling gales the last few days tho.

Thanks for your kind comments, look at those links & you will be inspired too!

Do the neighbors know that they have such interesting shadows lurking around their house? :-)

SILLY SHADOW DITTY

Shadows may or may not be
Patterns of urbanity.
If a shadow threatens you,
Here, my dear, is what to do:
Grab the shadow by the throat,
Toss it to a billy goat,
So the goat can chomp and chew,
Keeping it away from you!

Yes, this morning was lovely! I wish the clouds had stayed away for the rest of the day too! :)

The morning after the snow can be rewarding, especially if the sun is out. And you have captured this most excellently! With this snowy winter, we complain more, but should never forget that snow CAN be so lovely!

The shadows of the wheels (?) caught my eye. To me they're whimsical, and remind me of fishing reels but in completely the wrong setting. Lovely!

First, thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on my OWOH-post. Second, with this post you introduced me to Skywatch Friday - wow! I just entered my photo, I had taken several pictures of the evening sky today! What a coincidence!

Oh aren't the old clothesline shadows fun?! You don't really see those around much anymore. So much for folks being green. I can't (not allowed)hang my clothes out here at the condo, but do when I'm up in Idaho. I LOVE the smell of clothes that are line dried. Of course in the city here, they would only smell like exhaust fumes and dirt anyway.

Lovely to see some blue sky and sunshine! That's your driveway? Yikes! I can't make out exactly what part is the driveway. It's all snow! Hope it all melts away soon :)
