Macro Flowers Saturday

Flowers are so gorgeous throughout the summer. With the heat and sun we have had, some are growing so much better!
Yesterday, we finally found out what was destroying our lovely sunflowers. A big gray squirrel was sitting in the big pot munching on a sunflower head! I didn't get a chance to photograph him though. At least I have taken a few photos before the plant was essentially eaten!
Here are a couple of other flowers from our gardens.

Be sure to visit the other great participants here.

Nice shots, glad we don't get squirrels here. Love the second photo is it a gerbera?

I like the color of the second photo, looks very feminine.

A very pretty collection of colours! The pinks are especially beautiful!

So, you've caught the perpetrator. They have to eat something too, the poor things.
Your photos are beautiful and my favorite is also the second one.

Gorgeous shots. The thing to do is leave some unsalted nuts out in your yard by the flowers and the squirrels will leave the flowers alone. Of course, you'll have him in your yard all the time.

The squirrels didn't just sit there and eat the sunflower seeds - they took the whole darn head!!! I love the third flower!!!
