ABC Wednesday - L is for Lighthouse

Once again it is time for ABC Wednesday. This week the letter is L. I just completed an ATC challenge on lighthouses - I read about them, looked at pictures, and finally created my cards. So, it seemed natural to use the lighthouse for this week.

The Maritimes (Canada's east coast) still has functional lighthouses - they have fulfilled a unique place in maritime history. If you get a chance visit one before they disappear!

Peggy Cove's Lighthouse is a beautiful distination. Check it out here.

People even use lighthouses in their yards for decoration.

Be sure to check out the other great participants at ABC Wednesday.

Lovely! And I love lighthouses! One of the great things about living on the coast, there's always one not too far away to visit!

Have a great "L" day!

Sylvia

Light houses are so symbolic, of finding your way home/finding yourself. I think light houses are magical!
I love making ATCs they are quick to make and let you be creative when time is short.
Thanks for your lovely comment, I did enjoy making ATCs, hoping to make more soon. Angie:)

I do like lighthouses - they are in such stunning locations (naturally). I liked your cards too.

Hard NOT to like lighthouses. Form AND function.
