Wishcasting Wednesday

Once again Jamie of Jamie Ridler Studios asks us a question. Today's question is

What do you wish to remember?

Normally I answer the question first, then visit the other participants. Today I did the reverse and I was so moved by the other wishes. There is such strength in sharing and supporting the wishes of others. Poetry, photos and wonderful wishes - what a blessed mixture.

I want to remember my life - my children, husband, parents and extended family. All the little memories that make up our lives form a tapestry we can look back at and rejoice in. I too fear alzheimers - the great robber of dignity and life.

Along with remembering though, I want to celebrate all that I am and all that I was. I need to keep the connection with all those who have already left. Their memories are always with me.

You too can support the wishes of others.

As Jamie says:

"Answer the wish prompt above on your blog and then add a direct link to your post in the box below. Support wishes by visiting other participants, leaving a comment saying “As (insert name) wishes for her/himself, so I wish for her/him also.” It’s that simple. There is great power in wishing together."

As BB wishes for herself, so I wish for her also! :)

I really like the sentence: I want to celebrate all that I am and all that I was! Yes! I'm celebrating with you!

I too love that you added celebrating to the remembering.

Awe...as Bev wishes for herself, so too do I wish for Beverly. I'm with Kavindra...I love that you added celebrating too. I drew an 'Aligator' card from my power animal deck yesterday that for me was about 'Forgetting to celebrate the victories, the milestones, the rites of passage...' this is lovely to be reminded of. THanks.

I agree, the wishes today seemed richer than I can comprehend...but...that's the way of many deep things, don't you think?

As Beverly wishes for herself, so I lovingly and with intention wish for her also.

I wish you years and years of remembering and wonderful things to remember.

Hi Bev, Thanks for both your comments on my blog. That's a neat idea to visit first then wish. Will try that one of these weeks. Supporting the wishes of others makes this wed adventure so fun to do! May all your wishes comes true!

Giulietta
Is there any way to add name/url for next week in your comments section? I don't have a blogger profile. Thx!

I mean: As BEVERLY wishes, so I also wish.

(Sorry, Beverly. I think I was thinking "Jamie Ridler" when I wrote that comment before, and my brain got cross-circuited. Ugh. Very embarrassed.)
